In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, brokers with Windermere Real Estate in Port Angeles and Sequim presented a donation to Kristi Toth and Sandy Ruddell of Operation Uplift. This volunteer-run organization provides assistance to individuals dealing with a cancer diagnosis on the Olympic Peninsula. 100% of every donation goes back to the people in our community. Services include (but are not limited to) prostheses, compression sleeves, wigs, travel assistance, mammography, and activities. Their next Breast Health Clinic will be held in Sequim on October 15, 2016. To find out more about how you can contribute to this wonderful organization, or if you would like to get more information about services, call 360-457-5141 or go to operationuplift.org

Volunteer Hospice Memorial Tournament
“Thank you again for sponsoring the Volunteer Hospice Memorial Tournament played yesterday by the Ladies’ golf group at Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course. It went really well for a small tournament and we raised a little over $3,800. Thanks!”
Windermere's Community Service Day (2015)
Brokers from Windermere Real Estate’s Sequim-East and Sunland offices spent Windermere’s Community Service Day (June 5, 2015) weeding the landscaping at Sequim’s Boys & Girls Club. Inside the club, we also painted a wall and refinished a pool table. Join us in supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula. The club provides a safe place for kids who may be left alone after school. Life enhancing programs are offered in education, career development, health and life skills and leadership. Visit the Boys and Girls Club for more information about volunteering or supporting this worthwhile organization.
Sequim Food Bank - Backpack Program
Windermere Real Estate / Sequim East and Sunland are proud supporters of the Sequim Food Bank’s “Backpack Program”. Donations from our Windermere Foundation Funds will help local kids in need. Children who receive food assistance during the school week often don’t get enough food on Saturdays and Sundays. The Food Bank sends these kids home from school on Fridays with a “backpack” of nutritious and child-friendly food to help get them through the weekend. Visit the Sequim Food Bank website to learn more about how you can support them, too!
